About Unity Street Help VSP:
In 2021, Alicia Reid started Unity Street Help VSP to continue the legacy of Carl Crosdale, aka. Fatta Rex, whose apartment in Ville Saint Pierre was a place where all community members were welcome to eat, rest, socialize, get clothes, and re-group no matter their circumstances. This initiative was inspired by and made possible with the guidance of an Indigenous elder and the founder of Unity Street Help Cornwall, Tina Point.

Unity Street Help VSP is a volunteer-run, mutual-aid organization supporting members of the Ville Saint-Pierre community in Tio'tia:ke / Montreal. All needs are communicated from VSP directly to Alicia through Facebook or word of mouth. Resources provided include clothing, food, household essentials, bus tickets, seasonal care packages, job listings, housing, and connecting folks with other resources.
